Alicka is a Anmatjere/Warlpiri lady from Yuelamu. Yuelamu is about 300Km NW of Alice Springs in the Tanami.
Her Auntie Veronica was one of the original Yapa Crew in 2015 and Alicka joined the Yapa Crew in late 2023. (Veronica returned to the Yapa Crew in 2023 as well)

Swing 21 – 28 May 24
6am breakfast with the crew at the mess with a buffet and a good variety of food and drinks.
7am Start meeting where we discuss health and safety and the work plan for the day, complete a breath test.
The days work loos exciting working with machinery and the day flies by. At the end of the day we return to our rooms and share a nice dinner together at the mess. Fridays are fish and chips and Saturdays are steak night. I enjoy going to the gym and socialising with friends at the wet mess. At the end of the swing we prepare to drive back to our community in the 4×4 bus and enjoy a week off.
